Chinese New is an increasingly popular celebration among many people. Chinatown always appears to shine at this time especially the market stalls where people are able to experience the Chinese culture and celebrate the New Year by watching the Lion Dance or eating the various foods sold such as famous foods and desserts and many other asian delicacies. What is so enjoyable at this time of year is that it provides an opportunity to not only spend time with family and friends but also to participate in the many exciting events available in Chinatown.

This year, Hong Australia participated in the Chinese New Year Stalls in Dixon St, Chinatownm, to promote products such as Drinho drinks including Taiwanese tea, Kamfen Noodles, SPAM and HAC oil products. The stalls were run over three days where people were allowed to sample various products. This year, people from different age groups and different cultures visited the stalls to celebrate the year of the MONKEY and participate in the live events and festivities.
