CHILI BEEF
(Serving Size 4)

Cooking Method
Stir-Frying

 

INGREDIENTS
- Red Capsicum ½
- Fresh Basil (chopped) ¼ cup
- Cooked Rice 4 cups
- Boiling Water 1 tbsp
- Sirloin Beef Steak 500 g
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Chili Flakes 1 tsp
- Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce 1 tbsp
- Fish Sauce 1 tsp

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove core and seeds from bell pepper and cut flesh into thin slices. Crush, peel and chop garlic. Soak chili flaskes in boiling water while preparing rest of ingredients.

2. Trim fat and sinew from meat. Cut meat very thinly.

3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or frying pan. Stir fry one-third of the meat for 1 minute.

4. Add garlic and chili flakes to wok. Stir fry for 30 seconds. Add bell pepper and stir fry for 1 minute. Add Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce, fish sauce and meat to wok and quickly stir fry to heat through. Toss basil through and serve immediately on a bed of rice.
